Those were my two most recent destinations--a week-long trip, and a great one. In Chicago, I met with two librarians who will be hosting me at their schools--Monika Schroder, from New Dehli, India (!!), and Kirk Palmer, from Singapore (!!). I learned to my delight that Monika is also the author of a middle-grade novel, THE DOG IN THE WOOD, and has another book forthcoming.
