After four years in Korea, I left the military for the civilian world and held a few different jobs, mostly in marketing. While marketing didn't have a thing to do with making cool things, it DID give me a solid background that I now use everyday in how to market myself and my company.

A quick jaunt to Italy occurred when I realized I was never going to...more

Today is another wonderful chance to win some of the newest books in the beading industry, this time by Interweave/F+W. I'm excited to have been able to read these cover to cover, give you my opinion of them, and then have one book sent to three different people (US only, I'm sorry).

First up is the 144-page "Wire + Metal - 30 Easy Metalsmithing Designs" by Denise Peck and Jane Dickerson.

Toni berkshire Hi, Lori - glad to meet you. Knitting books sounds good. I just finished, 'Died in the Wool', and Knit fast, Die Young, by Mary Kruger and Indigo Dying by Susan Witting Albert. Personally, I crochet, but haven't found many murder book series about crocheting, yet.
