Born in the last year of the Soviet Union to a loving and caring family, I moved to Germany with my parents when I was six years old. Barely knowing the language of the country, I attended school in Chemnitz and finished with an Abitur in 2009.
Inventing little stories since I could talk - which was before I could walk - and starting writing as soon as I learned how to do it, I started my first novel projects when I was eleven and got my first personal computer with Microsoft Office on it. It was about a girl wearing blue shoes and loving football who attended the school that would became my school 2001 to 2009. I started several novel projects and dropped them when school did not allow me to work on them for a long time and approaching them again I realized I had outgrown my own projects and would have to rework them wholly ere I would be able to progress.
The consequence was, that I couldn't finish anything longer than a short story or a poem till I was sixteen and wrote the play "Garielle". Having discovered that I actually can finish a tale, I started some novel projects I'm engaged in up to today.
In 2008, my German teacher offered me to print some of the short stories, poems and plays I'd written so far on self-publishing base so that I could hold my creations in my hands.
During the next months, I re-wrote many short stories, finished others and edited the English works I wanted to publish. In February 2009, "Licht und Schatten" - Light and Shadows - was finally published: An anthology of everything I had written from 2001 to the end of 2008.
In October 2009, I finished my first novel entitled "My Vallentine". Ere I could rework it, I moved to Mayence where I attend university. Being left alone in a new town and in a new situation, I scarcely wrote at all for almost six months till I adopted to my new situation.
When I joined a writers board in May 2010 and got my works reviewed by people with more experience, I understood that I would have to work on my writing ere I could offer "My Vallentine" to a publisher again.
So whenever my training leaves any time for me, I work on multiple projects or rework "My Vallentine".(less)
