About this author

My Twitter Bio says "Author, animator, filmmaker, cat-slave with ironing phobia", which is a fair description of me. However here is the formal one, for the folk that like to read this sort of thing.
I have been writing seriously since 2006 and had a number of successes, most notably the publication of the fantasy story "Quest" published by Leucrota press. I have worked on film and stage projects and enjoyed being part of the script writing team working for Maypole Promotions on the documentary film "Spinning Down the Derwent."
More recently, I wrote and directed a short documentary film about older people and human rights, for AgeUK and the British Institute of Human Rights, had a comedy play staged and co-authored a fantasy book called. TAR...more


It's been a few months since I updated the blog. There never seems to be enough time in the day to do all the things I have on my list, so the blog gets pushed to the bottom. My animation work has been taking up quite a bit of time recently, a cartoon for deaf children to remind them to wear their hearing aids and a rock music animation for World Aids Day.
