| Looking beyond the obviously uncomfortable pc stuff, this is an old favorite, with a heroine who gets her come-uppance with a good ability to find amusement in her own failings... fun, fun, and a great kick-off to a Jane Austen binge. | |

So glad you've joined goodreads Barbara! Doesn't surprise me a bit to learn that you're a classic literature lover! David Copperfield is my very favorite Dickens - although I've found I enjoy Wilkie Collins overall work a bit more. Just recently read an odd, but enjoyable collaborative piece by those two along with Elizabeth Gaskell and Adelaide Anne Proctor called A House to Let. A very short, but fun read!
