about this author
I Started out writing songs- never quite became the singer-songwriter I thought I would. I've written lots of poetry, and I'm very proud of it. However, there isn't much of a market for that, so it's probably destined to remain something I share with family and friends. I Started writing what would become "The Unreals" over 25 years ago. Moral- never give up on your dreams!
"The Unreals" revolves around a young man searching for his grandfather, who has mysteriously disappeared. There are lots of surrealistic characters, tons of conspiracy theories, and liberal doses of social and political satire. The reader encounters everything from imaginary freeway exits leading nowhere to time-traveling cornfields, on the way to a lengthy adventure inside the secret sub-basement of an Iowa mental institution. The book has an "X-Files" feel to it, although I started writing it long before the television show.
I'm presently marketing a childrens story I wrote called "Midnight School." I'm also revamping a second novel.
