Calvin W. Allison was born in a town called Ada in the state of Oklahoma.
When he was four years of age, his family moved from the town of Ada to a remote location deep in the country where he grew up. His immediate biological family consisted of himself, his dad, mom, and two sisters.
The years passed while the surrounding climate of his childhood took him through the diverse seasons of growth where the developing cycles of character took their effect. During his 7th to 10th grade years at the educational edifice called school, he experienced some very difficult times that caused his emotions to darken, and his self-esteem to sink low into the dimly lit hallways of manic depression. Inward hurt outwardly resulted in a reckless living that s

Calvin W. Allison I think that it is fairly obvious that I enjoy talking with people on and off line. I encourage discussion, and I present the truth about things as best I can. I stand by the views that I express , and I always respond to my strongest critics. Why? Because unlike the mainstream media, I don't use my platform to manipulate. I know what I am talking about and I prove that by defending what I ta... Read more of this blog post »

Poems From The Book "Shadows Over February" (Poetry)
7 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:36PM
Description: These are poems about turning to God for all of our needs. To spend time with Him and have faith in Him to take care of us. There will be times in life that get difficult. He alone is able to get us through the difficult times and bring us to a place of spiritual maturity. In God's strength we are able to move forward and to face any situation.

A Pause To Remember (Poetry)
1 chapters   —   updated Aug 25, 2013 06:38PM
Description: I didn't know much about the story of Columbine when it first happened. The Lord will sometimes make things known to you at a time when they will have the greatest effect. He did this for me with the Columbine story. When I heard how Rachel Joy Scott died at Columbine it really touched me deeply. I would later discover that not only her death, but also her life was a great testimony for the Lord. This is a poem from the book “Shadows Over February” that I wrote in remembrance of this precious dear sister.

“Morning dew upon the grass,
glistening in the sun.
Yesterday’s gone,
tomorrow may come,
but this day has begun.”
Calvin W. Allison, Shadows Over February

“Be glad for tomorrow and love today while it's here.
Because tomorrow it will be gone.”
Calvin W. Allison, A Sunset Rising

“Great men must go through great pain
The strongest storms
The hardest rain
The toughest climbs
The roughest terrain
Great men must go through great pain”
Calvin W. Allison, Shadows Over February

“Something created everything because nothing can’t create anything. Nothing can’t create something. Something has to create something. No one can give a demonstration of nothing creating something. But I can give numerous demonstrations of something creating something. This proves that there had to have been a Creator. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. That lines up perfectly with the concept that something created everything because nothing can’t create anything. Those that say that the universes evolved from nothing can’t give an example of nothing creating something. But those that say that there was a Creator can give numerous examples of something creating something. I could also say it like this. Lets say that both the atheist and the theist were each standing by two separate tables. On each table there was one piece of paper and one pencil. A piece of paper and a pencil for each of them.
Okay, it’s the job for both the atheist and the theist to get a picture of a tree on their piece of paper using their logic of how the universe was created. The atheist would have to stand there until nothing put that picture on that piece of paper. The theist would have to walk over to the table, pick up the pencil, and actually draw the tree on the piece of paper. Now then, who’s logic would get that picture on that piece of paper. Naturally it would be the theist. Because nothing can’t create something. It takes something to create something.”

“Sometimes there are moments in life that defy human reasoning; unique occurrences that simply cannot properly be resolved with the natural mind. So it’s only when one reaches further than themselves, and out into the unseen realm of faith, that life’s most miraculous moments can
truly be discerned. For it is in these moments that God is making more known the reality of His existence; and more known to we who believe, the greatness of His power and love.”
Calvin W. Allison, Strong Love Church

“The thoughts from a finite mind can at times be very similar to the clouds that move about over the surface of the earth. Both can cover a lot of ground, and can either disperse or increase in formation. Likewise—both are heavily influenced by the surrounding climate. Furthermore—a hard wind increases a fire’s spread, thunder proceeds a lightning strike, and when atmospheric water vapor accumulates, it produces clouds. Then, after an abundance of water has been condensed, the clouds will at some point release moisture; the rain/precipitation amount will range from the degree of abundance condensed.
Similarly: an abundance of thoughts can also accumulate—eventually resulting in an overflow of emotion. The overflow can either be positive or negative—the determining factor relying on the characterization of the thoughts—whether they be positive or negative.”
Calvin W. Allison, Strong Love Church

“Thundering, roaring, are the storms of life. Momentary hardships that, unveiled, reveal a purpose beyond carnal reasoning. The pain can get intense, the hurt can be severe, but one must look beyond themselves for conclusive answers. One must not examine their situations using finite logic to try to discover the deeper meaning behind the circumstance or its outcome. One must look beyond the surface of their own intellect, and see through the walls of their own understanding. The blueprint of life has been masterfully designed in such a way, that all things—no matter how they may seem—have a purpose; and that purpose will ultimately bring
about a greater good overall. The spiritual realm is truly realities base; and it is from there that truth derives. The mystery of the storm is revealed—cause and effect—the past, the present, and the future.”
Calvin W. Allison, Strong Love Church

“The unheard to hear—the unseen to see—the more to be understood: transparency. A purposeful guiding to a place of progression where ends come together and a bridge exists for the seeking to cross over onto a road of new and lasting hope.”
Calvin W. Allison, Strong Love Church
