About this author

I am the author of Letters from the Emily Dickinson Room, which won the White Pine Press Poetry Prize judged by Carl Dennis. My other full collection is Small Knots (2004) and my chapbook, Geography, won the Floating Bridge Press Prize in 2003.

I'm an avid mountain biker who lives in a small seaside community with my family and small zoo of pets. I'm also the editor of Seattle's 27 year old print literary journal, Crab Creek Review.

If you'd like to order a signed copy of my book you can go here.

You can visit my website here
if you're interested in having me look at your manuscript or poems or if you're in need of a poet at your university or writing conference.
