The first novel by Austin Williams, Crimson Orgy, was published in January of 2008 to rave reviews from Publishers Weekly, Film Threat Magazine, The Midwest Book Review and other sources. A feature film version of Crimson Orgy is currently in development.

His follow-up novel, The Platinum Loop, was released by Upaya House in November of 2011.

Williams is also the co-author (with Erik Quisling) of Straight Whisky: A Living History of Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll on the Sunset Strip, a seminal look at the L.A. music scene hailed by fans and critics alike upon its release in 2003.
