[close] Emma Trelles is an arts and culture journalist and a Pushcart Prize nominee for poetry. Her poems and essays have been published in lit anthologies and in New Millennium Writings, OCHO, Gulf Stream, Newsday, the Miami Herald and Latina magazine. Most recently she was the art critic for the Sun-Sentinel for three years and an editor for the Tigertail poetry journals and MiPOesias Magazine's American-Cuban issue. She has taught creative writing at the ArtCenter/South Florida, the Florida Center for the Literary Arts and at Florida International University, where she earned her Masters in Fine Arts.
