About this author

T.A. Webb is the writing name for the Mean Old Bear That Could. He's worked with people living with HIV/AIDS and with children in the foster care system for over twenty years, and takes the smaller pay for the chance to make a difference for those who can't help themselves. After hours, he's the proud single papa of two rescuer dogs, was born and raised in Atlanta, where he still lives, and is a pretty darned good country cook.

His sister taught him to read when he was four, and he tore his way through the local library over the next few years. Always wanting more, he snuck a copy of The Exorcist under his parents' house to read when he was eleven and scared the bejesus out of himself. Thus began a love affair with books that skirt the edge,...more

T.A. Webb The Broken Road Cafe is out!

What happens when you get everything you've worked for, only to discover it's not what you really want?

Dan O'Leary worked night and day to finish law school, join a top firm, and make partner all before the age of thirty-five. He's found a man who swept him off his feet, and his best friend of twenty years has his back.

His growing discontent with his job has Dan considering a change, but a series of betrayals, professional and personal, lead Dan to reconsider his whole life.

Making a fresh start, Dan meets the people of Blue Ridge, Georgia, including Chief of Police Nick Oliver, and, perhaps, finds a new home. But danger from his old life follows him and puts not only his life, but that of his new friends, at risk.

T.A. Webb I think my story for the "Love Has No Boundaries" event is coming out this next week. Excited, nervous, hopeful. That kind of sums it up...

"Love on a Wing and a Prayer"

Naval Aviator David Perkins is tall, handsome, athletic and on the fast track to become a Blue Angel. He’s successful and has the respect of all his peers and shipmates. He’s also gay and in the closet.

When Charles “Chuck” Wilder transfers onboard the USS Georgetown, he hits all Davey’s hot buttons. He’s intelligent, funny, has a great personality…and totally off limits.

Something’s got to give, or Davey’s going to go crazy.

T.A. Webb Lost and Found, an anthology about homeless and throwaway GLBT youth, will release on Friday, May 17th. I am honored to be included in this fine book, along with Michele L Montgomery, Jeff Erno, Tabatha Hart, DC Juris, Freddy MacCay, Dakota Chase, Doug Starr, Diane Adams and Caitlin Ricci.

God Bless Kris Jacen, who donated all her time and energy to edit this compilation, and to Featherweight Press for making it happen.

All proceeds benefit Lost-n-Found Youth, a nonprofit agency serving homeless GLBT youth in the Atlanta area. I am bursting with pride that a local charity was chosen, and know they do such fine work.

Please, support the great cause and read these amazing stories.

T.A. Webb My short, City Knight, will be out this Friday, February 15th. It's the first in a three part series.

What happens when two broken men collide?

Marcus works the streets of Atlanta, determined to keep it a safe place. An ex-cop, he buried his heart years ago. Ben works the same streets, selling himself to pay for college. The victim of a horrible crime, he decided to Just. Not. Care.

When their chance meeting leads to an unlikely attraction, will the ghosts that haunt them bring them closer, or separate them forever?

Caution: This is the first in a three part series, and you WILL want to come back for part 2. Hot men WILL have sex, and I can guarantee hot angst in my stories.
