Cullen Bunn was born in the bleachers of Newton Grove High School during an all so crucial Russian Chain match between Chief Wahoo McDaniel and Ivan Koloff, the Russian Nightmare. Just as Ivan was about to put “The Claw” on Wahoo, Cullen’s mother screamed out, “Take this Ruskkie!” and hurled the infant at the ring, striking Ivan’s bald head, then whipping the baby back by the umbilical cord. Stunned, Ivan was unable to recover before the count of three. The cheers of the crowd form Cullen’s earliest memory.
All right. Maybe not. But it is a lovely dream …
