About this author

Orchid Ch’ng was born in Malaysia and lived her childhood years on Christmas Island (Indian Ocean) and migrated to Perth, Western Australia with her family when she was a child. Her career has been varied and included working in the Department of Foreign Affairs/Passports Australia and in the wholesale travel industry. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Consumer Science) degree from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. The multidisciplinary science degree included major areas of study in nutritional science, food science and health science. She’s always had a strong interest in health, reading, writing and books which led to writing her first health book. Other interests include bushwalking, movies, photography and travel.
