About this author

As I retired from thirty two years of being an RN I turned to my true love of writing. I am published in three anthologies and have two picture books under my belt, Annie's Special Day and Edmund Pickle Chin a Donkey Rescue Story which is in a ebook at present. We will have a print book in a month.

I am the lucky mother of two wonderful sons and my two elderly cats think they own me. I am married to a brilliant linguistic. I love reading, blogging and hiking and teaching ESOL to students as a volunteer. I love writing every spare minute not otherwise taken. I love journaling and have three filing cabinets full of my journals.

Hi Friends!

Today we have a guest! I am so excited because it is Susan April Elwood, my coauthor of my second picture book, “Edmund Pickle Chin, a Donkey Rescue Story!” So without further ado here she is! Susan, take it away.

I am thrilled to be the co-author of a wonderful story, “Edmund Pickle Chin, a Donkey Rescue Story,” with my friend and author, Clara Bowman-Jahn....

I didn't like it as much as Jeanette Wall's other books. Maybe because this was a novel not a memoir it didn't have the immediacy of events. I could tell her memoir flavored it though. Two girls neglected by their mother? Their dysfunctional mother?...more
