After reading a recent Frankie Boyle tweet* I’ve been reluctant to post anything on here, but I wanted to share my recent work called ‘Life Is Waiting’ – a short story about friendship, drinking and manipulation. I feel I have to mention it’s a bit darker than my previous writing.

The sheer devastation of the story sustained a mist in my eyes from start to finish. One of the most captivating books I've ever and probably will ever read.

Bryan Serwatka Hello! Hope you're well.

I quite like it here! After rating loads of books I think I've proven that I enjoy reading a bit too much and am not capable of giving a book a bad score. Maybe it all boils down to me being very particular of what I choose to read, but I still can't help but question my own critical objectivity.

Oh well. I could just take Kurt Vonnegut's stance when he said, "Any reviewer who expresses rage and loathing for a novel is preposterous. He or she is like a person who has put on full armor and attacked a hot fudge sundae." :)

Dustin Rhodes Howdy Bryan! I see you made your way to Goodreads, good to see ya here!
