Nnedi Okorafor (formerly Okorafor-Mbachu) is the author of the novels Zahrah the Windseeker (winner of the Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature) and The Shadow Speaker (an NAACP Image Award Nominee and a Tiptree Honor Book).
Her forthcoming YA novel, Sunny and the Leopard People (Penguin Books), is scheduled for release in 2010. Her forthcoming adult novel, Who Fears Death (DAW Books), is also scheduled for release in 2010.
Her forthcoming book for children, Long Juju Man, is the winner of the Macmillan Writer’s Prize for Africa.
