It was good to see him. He said he was enjoying the latest book... read more »

Ummm..so yeah...I'm, like, NOT, going to review this book. I didn't like it but I can't bear to give a Dark Tower book a small number of stars. This felt like a short story, not the book I've been waiting for since November. A thin short story, at th...more
Nnedi is on page 120 of 309 of The Wind Through the Keyhole: AW GOD, a flashback within a flashback?! I am officially annoyed. Seriously, what the hell, King. I'm stamping this is my least liked Dark Tower book. It's a book that refuses to move forward. The well of this story has OBVIOUSLY dried and he's squeezing and squeezing, regardless. Better for him to move on and for us fans to just reread the series.

I liked the concept of this more than the Hunger Games. The social commentary was harsh, honest and rather disturbing. It gave me something to think about (and fret over). I also really enjoyed reading this type of story with a non-Western setting an...more

I really enjoyed this. The plot meanders and so does the point of view. But that's the beauty of it. It's a nice slice-of-precolonial-Igbo-life story. It's frank (example, it's normal for men to beat their wives and this is spoken of without judgemen...more

I loved this. The character development was excellent. Each dog (and cat) was lovable in a different way. I also loved how the cat hung out with the dogs yet WASN'T a sellout to his own kid. And the stories were a unique mix of YA and adult. It's tal...more
