Ever since she learnt to spell her full name, Heather Rodney-Diaz has been writing. With crayons, markers and chalk all over the walls of her single mother's house, both inside and out!

She much preferred being magically transported to enchanting places just by turning the pages of the many adventure and fantasy stories more than anything else. At that time, her favorite books were those by British author Enid Blyton. Always active and talkative, making up and telling stories and forever getting into trouble just like the notoriously naughty Amelia Jane and once a tomboy herself like her fav character Georgina from the Famous Five series.

Leaving her young adventure days behind after exhausting the heck out of Blyton, Heather moved on to romance novels and fell completely in love with this genre, often getting busted for reading the ones much too advanced for her age at the Couva Government Secondary School.

Blessed with quite a vivid imagination, (though working that vivid imagination may sometimes be confused with her just staring into La-la-land for prolonged periods at times!) she started writing her own adventure stories, journals and essays and eventually her debut romance novel with Crimson Romance, Island Pursuits.

There's nothing better than a sweet, heartwarming romance...
Though she holds an associate degree in Public Relations and Journalism from the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago, she believes in writing the type of books you like reading yourself. This so happens to be the main reason why she writes spicy and super-sexy multi-cultural romantic island escapes. Because deep down, she's a hopeless romantic at heart (okay way, way, down!)

Perhaps it was all of these things that destined her to become a writer…
The sixth of eight siblings and born on the energy rich twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the southern Caribbean, Heather now shares a home with her husband. During the day, she works full-time at an international diplomatic organization in the capital city of Port of Spain but at nights, her keyboard magically prompts her to dream up as many hot and sexy heroes and heroines her heart so desires. Hence, she's busily engrossed in the editing phase of her second romantica. Apart from this, she also enjoys music, fine dining and travelling when the opportunity presents itself.
