About this author

I write and read original m/m romance, after several years of writing fanfiction. In a former life I studied and taught western religious history and culture, but for now my focus has been on writing. It's a lot more fun.

I like power dynamics, historical settings, and nuanced characters and plots. My first novel, In Allegiance, is available as a draft online, and targeted for revision and publication in Spring 2013.

I've got a poll going on in my LJ to vote on the cover for In Allegiance:

I hadn't thought about doing a paperback, but I'll look into it! I know Amazon has CreateSpace, so I'll check it out and hopefully make it happen :).

I know, I've been really slow! I've actually been doing a lot of work on the IA revisions and adding to The King's Son these past couple of weeks, since I've had some free time from work. I'm about 75% done with IA and hoping to get it out this spring, so then I can start posting on The King's Son again. I have definitely not abandoned either of them!

For Finding Bigfoot, I'd like to rewrite what I wrote and add more to it, so it may be a bigger project than a quick sequel. So hopefully later this year :).

It's always awesome to know that readers are out there - thanks! :)

Kate Islay Rachel wrote: "Really enjoyed In Allegiance. Is it still planning on being released in e-book form?"

Hi Rachel, I've been revising it for e-book publication - making some fixes, fleshing out some plot points, and generally getting it into shape - so I'm still expecting to have it out this year. Like everything, it's taking longer than I expected :), but it's still definitely in the works.

Thank you for the review, btw! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. It's great to hear that you did.

Kate

Rachel Really enjoyed In Allegiance. Is it still planning on being released in e-book form?
