Ivan Henley spent his childhood drawing embarrassingly bad cartoons. When he grew older, he began writing short stories and later moved on to novel-length stories. He is the author of the Captain Exetre books and the writer, artist, and creator of the web comics Galactic Drifter and Filibirdsters. When not writing or drawing or being a single dad for his daughter, he has something called a "day job", which is where he earns his actual money.
