His writing has appeared in Action Pulse Pounding Tales vols 1 & 2 alongside best selling thriller authors Matt Hilton, Stephen Leather, Adrian Magson, Zoe Sharpe and Joe McCoubrey. Having been raised on a diet of seventies and eighties Pulp Fiction, and no he does not mean the film, books like The Destroyer series, Mac Bolan, et al,He intended his work to reflect those humble beginnings of his literary journey. His books are not the long drawn out War and Peace length tomes, and Andrew makes no apologies for this. He writes pure escapist fiction for the general entertainment of the mass audiences. Books that will take you out of the mundane e...more

I have only been writing for a couple of years, and
probably still not qualified to talk about how to write a book, but what I have
done is tried to soak up everything out there to do with moving from the first
letter on the page to The End. I know I still have a lot to learn in this
journey, but what I am doing is giving little snippets of what I have picked up
along the way. I hope in some way it... Read more of this blog post »

“***CALL FOR SUBMISSION***
Not asking for any money, I'm asking you to do what you do best.
I am putting together a charity anthology where all the proceeds go to Women's Aid-Women's Aid is the key national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. This is a cause dear to my and my family's heart.
So this is a CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS to any writer who wants to have a tale included in this book. I am not looking to do a book full of stories about domestic violence. I know the proceeds are going to Women's Aid, what I'm looking for is a broad spectrum of stories from different genre's. As it is for charity, this is a none paying gig. All proceeds will go to Women's Aid. I'm looking for tales of any genre up to 6000 words, and 2000 words minimum. Only stipulation, must include a strong female character at some point, even if she only makes a brief appearance. So if there are any of you fellow writers out there who want to get involved with this project want to be included message me for more details. Submissions open until 25th July
While you will not be paid for the story, you will be helping a most worthy cause, and will get more coverage for your name, free advertising is always good. Title to be confirmed at a later date.
Send your submission to a_scorah@live.co.uk. Attach it as a word file, and neatly formatted 12 point roman text, line spacing exactly 12 point,”

Andrew Scorah Working on my next book, The Omega Sanction, 17 chapters so far. A thriller that has Nazi bad guys, a hostile takeover of Area 51, with some time travel thrown in for good measure.
Here's the opening.
A seething hellhole of Dantean proportions.
Flames, explosions, smoke and craters, bodies strewn across the savaged landscape, chaos rumbling.
Sergeant Manny Decker, and Privates Dempsey, Genaro, and Cole ploughed up the tree lined hill towards the Pass. The burnt-egg stench of sulphur hung everywhere. Angry, White-hot bolts of illumination cut through the mist, and the smoke
They became separated from the rest of the Company when the Germans let loose with mortar fire. They were dug into the cliffs above. Machine guns and 20mms bristled from bunkers, which over watched the mouth of the gorge leading to the Jonastal Pass. This was the last line of defence to the Jonas Valley Industrial complex. A last ditch attempt to prevent the Americans and Russians from getting their hands on German technology along the ever-shortening road to Berlin.
Decker felt the hot whisper of displaced air to the left and right of him as he made his way towards a fallen tree.
Scrambling to the earth, he reached the cover of the tree seconds in front of his comrades. They took advantage of the few moments of safety to get their breath back and still their beating hearts. Cole crossed himself and looked up to the sky as he tried to become part of the fallen trunk, his nineteen year old face ashen beneath the dirt smudges.
