I knew in fourth grade I wanted to be a writer when I read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. It wasn’t until sixth grade when I read Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell, that I wanted to write romance novels. In middle school and high school, I wrote short stories and read whatever I could get my hands on. My mother used to make me go to bed when I was up reading late. Little does she know I had a small flashlight and would continue reading under the covers.
