Description:
Amie Wentworth has led a sheltered life ever since her parents’ car crash. Not even a letter from her long lost Uncle, begging her for a visit, gives Amie incentive for anything other than ire.
An adult, who makes her living playing make-believe, should never be dashed into such a fantastical journey. Knowing the tricks of her trade, she is determined to root out the logic behind the unexplained. Never mind the possibility she might be a part of it, or the fact her dearly departed dad left her with an inheritance she can’t return.

He didn't remember the fight, particularly, but people were looking at him as if they were stunned. He felt he should make some explanation, though it seemed to him a simple situation.

Hey girlie! Yep! You can actually check out the synopsis up above listed as Vynasha! You will like it :) Oh man with a name like Slaughterhouse I'm surprised it's not somewhat thrilling at least. Guess it went the way of the "Saw" sequels, huh? I need to check those books out! I've been finishing up the last of the Unicorn Chronicle books by Bruce Coville. So glad I finally get to finish this series like fifteen years later, lolAngela (: wrote: "Jennifer wrote: "Angela (: wrote: "Haha, you're not crazy at all! I love your accent! :D So how's it going? A new book? :D Same old, same old. Nothing exciting happened yet. I'm reading Slaughterhouse Five and it's super boring! I might not get to finishing it... I'm hoping to start Dare You To and If You Find Me over the weekend. I've heard amazing things about both books!

Thanks so much for the encouragement Susan :) I'm checking out that page you linked. Thanks so much for the vote of confidence. It means so much hearing from people who've "got there" you know? Anyways, can't wait for book two!
Happy writing,

Hi Jennifer,Thanks for the friend request and your sweet note. Re your question about writing, I talk a bit about my writing process in this interview on EW.com. I recommend freewriting exercises. I find that gems magically appear when I freewrite. Keep writing and push your boundaries! I'm rooting for you!
Best wishes,
Susan

They are good! Oh man, well I have to admit I've been guilty of doing that in the past. Sometimes it's just hard to get through those school assignment reads. :[ Hope you have a great weekend! I've got more revisions and research planned here, and I'm about to start the long haul :)
