About this author

I am an artist, musician, author and believer in bigger dreams.

I have been to Dracula's castle and lived to tell the tale.

I work with children, though by the end of the day it feels more like they worked me lol

I know how to properly use a rifle, survive a world of diapers, snotty noses and physical maiming from same children on a daily basis.

I'm a Christian and a Texan, you can guess the rest ;)

I've never quite fallen out of the habit of dreaming bigger than is healthy and can't seem to stop.

Suddenly Royal (Suddenly, #1)Suddenly Royal by Nichole Chase
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I discovered this title under Amazon's newly instated "New Adult" category and was intrigued from the get go. I had high hopes this wouldn't just be some Princess Diaries rip off and I wasn't disappointed. We begin in the typical college town atmosphere in the heart of winter. There are the usual formulas, the best friends and the smart-ace... Read more of this blog post »

Description: Amie Wentworth has led a sheltered life ever since her parents’ car crash. Not even a letter from her long lost Uncle, begging her for a visit, gives Amie incentive for anything other than ire. An adult, who makes her living playing make-believe, should never be dashed into such a fantastical journey. Knowing the tricks of her trade, she is determined to root out the logic behind the unexplained. Never mind the possibility she might be a part of it, or the fact her dearly departed dad left her with an inheritance she can’t return.

They are good! Oh man, well I have to admit I've been guilty of doing that in the past. Sometimes it's just hard to get through those school assignment reads. :[ Hope you have a great weekend! I've got more revisions and research planned here, and I'm about to start the long haul :)

It sounds good! I love the names! (: Haha, it's just very confusing. I never finished reading it; I just read enough to write my assignment. :P LOL, finally!

Jennifer Hey girlie! Yep! You can actually check out the synopsis up above listed as Vynasha! You will like it :) Oh man with a name like Slaughterhouse I'm surprised it's not somewhat thrilling at least. Guess it went the way of the "Saw" sequels, huh? I need to check those books out! I've been finishing up the last of the Unicorn Chronicle books by Bruce Coville. So glad I finally get to finish this series like fifteen years later, lol

A new book? :D Same old, same old. Nothing exciting happened yet. I'm reading Slaughterhouse Five and it's super boring! I might not get to finishing it... I'm hoping to start Dare You To and If You Find Me over the weekend. I've heard amazing things about both books!

Jennifer Angela (: wrote: "Haha, you're not crazy at all! I love your accent! :D So how's it going? (:"

I'm just trying to keep a grip on it all, as usual, lol. Working on revising this Beauty and the Beast retelling, and just focusing on one thing at a time. How bout yourself? Read anything good lately? :)

Angela (: Haha, you're not crazy at all! I love your accent! :D So how's it going? (:

Susan Ee Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for the friend request and your sweet note. Re your question about writing, I talk a bit about my writing process in this interview on EW.com. I recommend freewriting exercises. I find that gems magically appear when I freewrite. Keep writing and push your boundaries! I'm rooting for you!

Best wishes,
