J Tullos Hennig has had varied professions over a lifetime—artist, dancer, teacher, equestrian—but has never successfully managed to not be a writer. Ever.

JTH is blessed with an understanding spouse, kids, and grandkids, is alternately plagued and blessed with a small herd of geriatric and retired show horses… And has, for the entirety of that lifetime, been possessed by a press gang of invisible ‘friends’ who Will. Not. Be. Silenced.

The third Book of the Wode, WINTERWODE is in edits and will be out in the autumn of this year, with two more books to follow. There are several other projects pending, and I'm hopeful that they will be out in the next couple of years.

There is also extra material in the new editions of GREENWODE and SHIREWODE. :)

To Kansas City and I’ll be there at MidAmericon, hanging with the DSP Publications table in the Dealer’s Room as well as taking in various panels. Come and say hullo!

Also, if you’re interested in hearing a totally new bit from The Wode, come to the Broad Universe reading on Sunday. I’ll be in some great company; you will definitely hear some great excerpts of the SF/F variety.

“History is chronicled by conquerors.”
J. Tullos Hennig

“Because if Rob was going to hell, Gamelyn wasn't going to let him go alone.”
J. Tullos Hennig, Greenwode

“you asked me once what I believe in. I believe in this." Rob raised their hands, laced together like an embroidered bodice. "I believe in this." First a kiss to their hands, then a kiss to Gamelyn's pale shoulder, then one against his cheek... and said, hoarsely, "I believe in you." From fear to love.”

Thank you! The characters should be--some of the trailer art (in both GW and upcoming SW) is the art I sent for reference. To which cover artist Shobana Appavu did a mind-blowing rendition; I love Greenwode's cover.
