About this author

My latest full-length novel, Kings and Queens, is a modern take on the story of Henry VIII and his six wives. The sequel, Last Child, is nearing completion. I've been so obsessed with it that I've neglected everything else. I mean, seriously.

My books are contemporary fiction, mostly of interest to women, but many men have read them too; "Dream On" has more reviews from men than from women, on here. I write about the issues that concern so many today; divorce, infidelity, addiction, obsession with celebrity, stalking, meeting people via social networking sites. However, I shall be moving more into histfic as time goes on.

Reading wise, I like Phillipa Gregory, Douglas Kennedy, John Boyne and Deborah Moggach, and anything else I happen to fanc

Sometimes a character arrives in my head with his or her name attached, other times I try up to six different ones before settling on one that feels like the person I'm writing about. In one of my earlier books, Nobody's Fault , one of t... Read more of this blog post »

Yes, she's done it - the third episode of the Tudor Enigma trilogy is by far the best of the three! I loved it, and read it in just two days.

This third book has all the elements that made Court of Conspiracy and Taste of Treason so good, but so much

Victoria Limbert Thank you for the friends invite :)

Lucinda Dear Terry,
I would like to thank you for the lovely and very touching, unexpected friendhip request here on Goodreads and i look forward to reading some of your work. I am honored and would love to be of help in reviewing your work if you would like me to, as an aspiring writer myself i would like to be as much help as possible in spreading the word about works of fiction & the importance of reading. Thank you so much once again,

Collette Scott Hey there Terry,

It's great to connect here! Thanks so much for finding me :D

Lauren (Northern Plunder) Absolutely no problem :)

Victoria Limbert I never know where to answer my wall comments so I will answer both here and on my page just in case lol!!

Lol sorry to take up your newsfeed!! haha, I do alot of my writing quite late on at night or on my days off. I reserve reading for after my shifts at work. I am contantly reading! I cant help it, its my first love :) And I seem to be able to read stupidly fast, probably because I read so much. Sometimes I get through a book in a day if I am really enjoying it lol.

Still I think a book a week is perfectly fine, healthy in fact. Give me a few more years and I am going to need strong glasses and tons of headache pills daily :)

Victoria, ditto - I can't get used to this comment/message thing, or perhaps you get a notification of a reply to a comment?

Ah, I see! Yes, I read fast, too, but these days so much of my non-writing time seems to be taken up with social networking...! I'm already on the strong glasses...

Maureen Hi Terry - now I've just got to work out how I get a book downloaded so I can read it and give a rating - boy - you talk about learning curves- I think I've slipped back down on my backside - I'm not having much luck!!
