Dennis Green is a British author and illustrator. He prefers to write children's fiction due to his immature sense of humour, and his inability to grasp the importance of anything that is not either a) making funny smells, b) making funny noises, c) an invention of some kind or d) possessed of a bizarre, unsettling appearance. His influences include The Addams Family, 80s cartoons and beans. He does not much care for breakfast cereal or very warm rooms.

As any half-decent history teacher will tell you, the thesaurus was a dinosaur that lived about 65 million years ago. Its bones have mostly been found across the British Isles, especially around modern-day Oxford and Cambridge.
