Kellie finds inspiration in nature and in the humble surroundings of her “backyard” – Southeast Tennessee.

Through her charming prose and engrossing narratives, Kellie writes freely on many subjects both fiction and semi-autobiographical, penning her way through cherished and magical moments as well as tragic losses. Her goal is to take readers back, rekindle a memory or elicit a...more

Patricia Graham I love your bio where you speak if how language and more importantly writing should be left in it unedited form. I could not agree more. I have went around and around about dialects and it role in soutern literature. Being a true hillbilly myself, I believe that you incorporate a standarized form of English-then society is bastardizing my culture, beliefs, and traditions.

I'll get off my soap box-- thank you for signing on as my friend-- we hillbilly redneck women need to stick together. lol

Nancy Kellie, glad to be your new friend. Feels kind of weird having an author following my reviews.....you're not grading them, are you? ;-) I'll have to put your book on my to-read shelf. I do love southern fiction even tho I'm from Iowa....don't know why. Fav southern authors: Larry Brown, Rebecca Wells, whoever wrote "Girls and Trucks," Sue Monk Kidd, + others.
