3.5 if I had the option.... I liked this look at a very potential future. It was gritty and did not hold back on the violent lifestyle of this dystopian, deprived world Chris Ward has created. Set in London, Bristol and Cornwall, the reader follows a...more |

Thanks for the friend request, Victoria. Your book sounds awesome, so I've put it on my wish-list. Will there be a paperback version of it coming out soon? I don't have a Kindle and I prefer physical books.

Terry wrote: "Victoria! Every time I look on my 'home' page you seem to be reading or just about to read something else - when do you get time to write??!! Have you got a spare head? I always feel really LAME..."Lol sorry to take yo your newsfeed!! haha, I do alot of my writing quite late on at night or on my days off. I reserve reading for after my shifts at work. I am contantly reading! I cant help it, its my first love :) And I seem to be able to read stupidly fast, probably because I read so much. Sometimes I get through a book in a day if I am really enjoying it lol.
Still I think a book a week is perfectly fine, healthy in fact. Give me a few more years and I am going to need strong glasses and tons of headache pills daily :)
Victoria! Every time I look on my 'home' page you seem to be reading or just about to read something else - when do you get time to write??!! Have you got a spare head? I always feel really LAME because I only manage a book a week if that, these days!

Just to let you know, the version of "Wind and Fire" with the two women on the cover is the old version of the book, which is no longer available. The one with the hands holding fire is the revised version and the one that's available from Amazon, Smashwords and CreateSpace. I'm just keeping the old version here on Goodreads because of the reviews.
Hope you enjoy them! :)
