About this author

Born and raised in the Lone Star state, Caitlin Elyse has always had a taste for the paranormal.

Then, my main character started taking on a personality of her own, and I was suddenly more interested in what HER story was as opposed to what 'my' story was." Heaven Bound, Hell Hunted was independently released in paperback and for the Kindle during March of 2012.

The sequel, Heaven Prays, Hell Preys was released on July 13, 2013. "Of the four books, this was the hardest for me," Caitlin says. "I was having a hard time in my person...more

Sometimes we intentionally blind ourselves. We find poor substitutes for the things we lack: friends, family, love. And that substitute becomes almost addictive, to the point where we continue to try to turn it into the real thing, or convince ourselves it’s better than having nothing in its stead. But, Kitty, when you do find the real thing, you’ll wonder why you ever settled for anything less.Caitlin Elyse

“Writing started out as a kind of therapy for me. I was bullied mercilessly in high school, and I lived vicariously through Kitty. She was everything I wanted to be; strong, smart, witty, and above all else, she didn't care what other people thought about her. But after a while, she started to take on a personality of her own, and I was suddenly more interested in her story than I was in mine.”
