About this author

It was bound to happen, with pictures being worth what they are in words, that a successful creative artist would eventually entertain the idea of writing a novel. Roy's interests were somewhat atypical as a child. Aside from art and science, there were books and movies--science fiction and fantasy themed--and also role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, and a love of fairy tales that started at an early age with a dusty, 1941 hardcover edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Exploring every creative avenue available to him, Roy took every art class he could in school, and also any writing class, especially creative writing. Roy has received several awards in recognition of his artwork. But for this artist-turned-writer, the sa

However the 3rd book would not be a direct continuation or rely on the story setup on in the first 2 books.. so Book I &II complete the story ... book III, some short stories, a new ebook, and audiobooks (which are going to sound amazing!) are all in the works! Unfortunately it's takes a lot of time for 1 person (me). Thanks for asking! Glad to hear you like my story... please feel free to leave a review! (less)

I had a big epic story plotted out for this and unfortunately, most publishers won't publish a 1,000 page book from a first time author it's pretty cost prohibative for most small publishers. So I had to break it out in more managable sizes. Where book I ends with chapter 26, book II picks up with chapter 27. I haven't landed on how I want to roll out book III yet.. (We've been working on the audiobook for Queen Cinder which will be release any day now.) I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was fun to explore these fairy tales. As for how I write... writing is actually the last part of the process, there is a lot of plotting out and pre-planning and research, but getting all of that done up front makes the actual sit down and write part easier! Thanks!(less)

"I gave this one an extra star over the first book because I enjoyed this one more and it was jam packed with Wonderland goodness. Another fun easy read, but needs a bit of editing like the first one. "
