Sumiko Saulson is the author of the sci-fi/horror novel Solitude (2011) the horror novel Warmth (2012), the dark fantasy Happiness and Other Diseases (2014), Somnalia (2015), and Insatiable (2015) the story Ashes and Coffee (2014) and a short story anthology Things That Go Bump In My Head (2012). Many of her short stories have been published in online or electronic small press speculative fiction magazines.

She is the author of a non-fiction book collection of author biographies and interviews called 60 Black Women in Horror (2014).

Her current project is a young adult horror series "The Moon Cried Blood." The first two novellas in the series, Legend of the Luna (2014) and Bloodlines (2014) are out, and two more books, Dreams of the Departed
