About this author

I'm a bull-headed, thoughtful, (mostly) positive cat person who loves to play with words. I'm known locally as a danger to myself and others, although there is (mostly) NO truth to those rumors. I write because it's fun to lie without the guilt and because telling stories is in my blood. That sounds cliché, but it's true.

I have two children. One of them is serving in the Middle East this year, and the other is very much a teenaged boy, with all that that entails. I live in a big four-square house in WV, but dream of moving to the beach sometime in the next couple of years - any of them will do:). My partner loves me dearly, but sometimes gets that squinty look when he's waiting for me to finish rambling and get to the point.
