J.R.ROGERS is a writer/novelist of historical thrillers, foreign intrigue & espionage. He is the author of five e-book novels and also of a collection of short stories.

His stories have appeared in Steam Ticket, TrainWrite,
The Legendary, The Rusty Nail, The Copperfield Review, Outside In Literary and Travel Magazine, River & South Review and Driftwood Press.

A forthcoming novel set in 1938 Italian Eritrea is due in 2017. He has lived in Europe and Africa and now lives in southern California.

I've had many instances of what I considered horrible writer's block but eventually the fog always lifts, sometimes dramatically. I often suffer blocks that last for weeks - once 2 months - but in the end being away from the manuscript it seems to me is often useful and insightful.(less)
