I grew up in the beautiful state of Oregon before moving to California to accept a job, then stayed when I fell in love with a local who later became my husband.

I eventually quit my job after the birth of my first child, and never looked back. In time, and after the second child came along, I was no longer able to deny my "calling".

I now write romantic women's fiction, and I love it! There is nothing easy about a career in writing, but like any artist will tell you, it's less about choice and more about the demand of your soul, or a calling. I need to write like I need to breathe.

Back from the dead no longer science fiction?

Did you know that birth rates around the world are down? Yet population is rising. This is due to our ability (and obsessive need) to prolong life. Many of the strides we've made to prolong life are wonderful, but are we taking it too far when there is talk of bringing people back from the dead?
