Kate O Lynch was born and raised in Dallas, TX, where she currently resides. For as long as she can remember she dreamt of writing a book. As a child she went so far as to take a section of a square notepad that was bound on one side to church with her; and while she was supposed to be listening, she would make up stories to write out on the pages of the notepad. Because of the binding, it actually looked like a book.

As a child Kate also loved to read, from her early years through high school. After four years of reading all of the “classics,” she attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas where she majored in English.
