Amalia Dillin began as a Biology major before taking Latin and falling in love with old heroes and older gods. After that, she couldn't stop writing about them, with the occasional break for more contemporary subjects. She lives in upstate New York with her husband, and dreams of the day when she will own goats--to pull her chariot through the sky, of course.

Amalia is the author of the Fate of the Gods trilogy, and the new Orc Saga, beginning with HONOR AMONG ORCS. She also writes historical fiction under the name Amalia Carosella.

Hi Zoe!

Thanks so much for reading and I'm so glad you're enjoying the series! I'm planning right now for a 2017 release for Orc Saga 3, but how early or late in 2017 will depend a great deal on when other contracted projects are scheduled -- I don't want to cannibalize my own sales, and don't have the same control over those dates to firmly place book 3 quite yet.

I'm so sorry to keep you waiting, and I'm eager to get book three into your hands, so I hope you'll hang in there with me!

Also thank you SO MUCH for your question!(less)

If you've been with me on the blog for any length of time, you probably know how much I love Norse Mythology. So when my editor suggested they'd like to see something non-Bronze Age from me for my next contracted book, leaping into the Viking Age seemed like really the only logical choice. And when they asked me if I'd consider writing a dual narrative -- with two timelines -- I almost

Amalia Carosella is on page 50 of 375 of Tamer of Horses: I love when I can work in a nod to some piece of mythology that isn't part of the narrative I'm exploring -- I'll probably pull a passage from this passage to post on my blog for a little sneak peek one of these days!
Kayla Beck
Kayla Beck is 25% done with A Court of Mist and Fury: I like Feyre so much better when she's interacting with Rhys. I loved Tamlin in the last book (I think), and... gah! Spoilers are so hard to avoid.

“Wait." He paused, and she held out a hand to him. His thick fingers engulfed her tapering ones; his skin was warm and dry, and scorched her. "Before we go pick up poor Lieutenant Illyan again..."

He took her in his arms, and they kissed, for the first time, for a long time.

"Oh," she muttered after. "Perhaps that was a mistake. It hurts so much when you stop."

"Well, let me..." his hand stroked her hair, gently, then desperately wrapped itself in a shimmering coil; they kissed again.”
