Good stuff. This series isn't anything new - young 'chosen one,' older teacher, group of sidekicks, evil master - but it's written and illustrated superbly that it's an exciting and fun page turner.

Touching, humourous, entertaining and uplifting despite and because of its subject matter. After all, love never disappoints. I wish I knew Gus and Hazel.

Cute, I suppose, but a little odd in a sense too. My son got this from his school library and he enjoyed the baby's mishaps but I didn't find this book to be that sweet/"Aw, or even educational. I do, though, its emphasis on family.
