I have a new Regency romance out. Waterloo Wedding is (surprise, surprise!) set against a background of the battle of Waterloo. You will already know the hero, Jack, if you have read The Six-Month Marriage, as he is Philip's friend, but the book is a standalone story.
Jack and Annabelle have a history. He proposed to her a year before the book opens but she told him she was engaged to someone else. Jack is suspicious, with good reason, and they must overcome their misunderstandings against backgrounds of London and Brussels, before finding the happiness they deserve. Waterloo Wedding

It's Hallowe'en, and I'm talking about Mr Darcy, Vampyre on the Historical Romance UK blog. http://www.historicalromanceuk.blogsp...
It was recently featured on The One Show (UK TV show) even though it was first published four years ago, and it's still my most talked-about book. So if you've read the book and you wonder why Elizabeth is the way she is in the book, or why there is so much travelling, or why the ending is the way it is, then hop over to the blog and find out! If you haven't read the book, what better time than now?Mr. Darcy, Vampyre

My first 3 Regency romances are now available as a "box set" edition on Kindle, ie 3 novels in one download (but no actual box!). They are A Most Unusual Governess, The Earl Next Door (originally published as Anything But A Gentleman) and The Six-Month Marriage. This edition is available at a low introductory price at the moment, £1.99 on Amazon UK and $2.99 +tax on Amazon US, with comparable prices on Amazons in other countries. The books are perfect light summer reading for Regency fans so if you haven't read them, now is a good time to buy them. I hope you enjoy them :)

January 6, 2013

I want to start this post by apologising to those people who had to wait a long time for me to confirm them as friends, I seem to have been very busy recently and I didn't have time to look in to Goodreads. But welcome!

I have another free promotion at the moment. The book is a historical romance called The Earl Next Door (previously published as Anything But A Gentleman). It has an adventurous plot with a hint of a Scarlet Pimpernel feel to it, and it's great for this time of year because it takes place when snow is on the ground. There are a lot of winter activities, including sailing on an ice yacht (I loved finding out about that when I was doing some Regency research).

I also wanted to let you know that Mr Darcy's Diary is now out in French, so if you are a native French speaker or you just want to improve your French, look out for Le Journal de Mr Darcy.

One of my Gothic Regency romances is at a special price on Kindle at the moment. It was previously published under the title of Stormcrow Castle.

Helena Carlisle takes up a position as the housekeeper at Stormcrow Castle in an effort to find her missing aunt. But she finds herself irresistibly drawn to the castle’s enigmatic owner, who is guarding a secret. As she is drawn deeper into the world of the castle, she must fight for love—and survival.

"A thoroughly enjoyable page turner." - Historical Novel Society
"How I do love Gothic novels, and here is a good example of the genre. Take a brooding castle on the moors, a sinister master, ghostly phenomena, a Mrs Danvers like lady's maid and a masked ball and stir them all together, then serve and enjoy." - My Shelf
"If you enjoy historical novels with romantic suspense in the Gothic tradition, then STORMCROW CASTLE is for you. Amanda Grange pens a well-written Regency Gothic that is a definite page-turner. Ms. Grange creates a satisfyingly eerie atmosphere at Stormcrow Castle where the reader can easily imagine almost anything happening within its walls. Torkrow is a perfect Gothic hero and Helena the perfect Gothic heroine . . . Highly recommended." -The Romance Readers Connection
"Grange peppers her story with rich atmospheric details, from a masked ball to a cast of colorful locals. Fans of romantic suspense will enjoy this tale of intrigue and deception on the barren moors." - Publishers Weekly

So if you fancy curling up with a Gothic novel, here are the links:

I hope you enjoy it!
