Born and brought up in the amusing city of Mumbai, poetry writing struck this 22 year old writer at the age of fifteen. Inspired by the people around him, their various emotions and the given situations poetry writing became a medium for expressing his thoughts. After the realization that a story has greater power to connect with the mind of the audience, that it has the capacity to make the reader feel that he is actually the main protagonist, Rijo Roy ventured into the land of story-telling. This is his debut novel 'Face Of Life.' For him a story is something where, after the reader has finished reading, he/she should take something back with them...something which they can ponder on deeply, even, if it is for a day.
