| I blame Jennifer Nielsen for one particularly groggy work day. This novel, ostensibly written for kids, kept me up well past my (very adult) bedtime and left me with a serious case of The False Prince hangover the next day. Can I really blame the aut...more | |

It is a great program for introducing kids (and adults) to some great books. We look forward to the list of books every year the way some folks look forward to the new ipad!

Nice to meet you, yes, Northwest connection is there. I do enjoy running Oregon Battle of the Books, exposes me to a load of wonderful books. I'm also an elementary school librarian.
Kai wrote: "Nice to meet you, Steven. I live in the Pacific Northwest, too. Odd to think I might run into you somewhere but would never know because of the secrecy thing. ;-)"Hi Kai, Thanks for the comment. Yep, there is a good chance you'll bump into me sipping coffee in a world-class bookstore in a city with a large supply of beautiful bridges. Uh-oh, do you think I said too much? :-; Seriously, though, really great to meet you.
