I am a children's book author. I really don't like to review books in my own field--picture books, YA, graphic novels etc. l'm happy to point out the standouts here and there, but I don't want to critique my peers. I'd rather review the books I read for pleasure.

I like genre fiction. Crime, Westerns, Horror and a little Sci-fi. But to be honest, the biggest decider on my book choosing is availability in audio form. Since I'm an illustrator, I have a lot of listening hours. A lot. And, of course, I only listen to UNABRIDGED audiobooks.
