I am best known for my Lavender Road series set in London during the second world war. And now there is a new one! LONDON CALLING is just out, published by Headline Books.
My first review called it 'A fabulous read!'
Do visit my book page for more details or to catch up on all my other novels.
I have lived in various parts of the world but I currently live in West Wales where my husband and I run our small coastal farm as a conservation project. I am a fellow of the Royal Literary Fund and teach from time to time on the Creative Writing MA at Trinity St David University.
I hope you enjoy my novels ...

All you need to combat writer's block is a great story.
In my experience writer's block is something that happens when you haven't planned out your book sufficiently prior to starting to write. My advice to sufferers is to plan your story so that you know at least part of the ending before you start - then it's much easier to keep going because you know where you are headed.(less)
