I’m a writer, photographer and author of Paris in Color. I co-run Obvious State–a multi-disciplinary creative studio–with my husband Evan.

I spent over a decade as a New York-based freelance writer, working with brands, magazines and ad agencies. I have extensive experience in the beauty industry and was Bravo TV’s beauty and fashion blogger from 2006-2008. In 2009, my family and I moved to Paris.

When I arrived in my new neighborhood in the Marais, long walks rekindled my interest in photography and fostered a love of the city’s intimate details. I especially like the way color contrasts with Paris’ gray skies and neutral facades.
