About this author

I am a clumsy jack of all trades who feels safest sitting behind a computer screen writing or behind a book reading. (There isn't anything I can trip over if I'm sitting!)

My other short story, "Anonymiss," was published in Fresh Ink in 2009.

When I'm not writing or accidentally beating myself up, I enjoy reading horror and medical thrillers, obsessing over Grey's Anatomy, and playing video games. I live in Waterbury, CT with my family, fiancé, and my little cat.

Instead of focusing on sales goals and marketing to reach those goals, I’ve decided I should be focusing on writing. It seems really obvious now, but it wasn’t when I sat down to set my goals for this month.

I hate this book. I hate Suzanne Collins. I have never cried so hard or so much. I'm going to write a better review after I absorb everything, but right now? I hate Suzanne Collins. I hate this book.

Catching Fire started off a little slower than The Hunger Games did, but once it sped up, it swept me away much like the wave in the Games.

I do wish it had been better edited, though; I kept seeing the districts written differently. Collins alternate...more

I had a lot of fun reading White Heat.
White Heat sucked me in right away with its noir style. You get to know Duke right away, and even though he’s a self-professed fuckup, I liked him instantly. Part of me wondered the entire time whether he killed
