Greetings,

I wasn’t trying to write a book but only wanted to tell some drumming folklore while giving drumming workshops at the Denver metro libraries. The first chapter of “The Drums of Legenderry” is drumming folklore, while the rest of the book, with its zany characters, seemed to write itself. In hindsight, I had accidentally enlivened every character with a piece of my own personality—whacky, fanciful, and always looking for a good time.

I love the world I created that exists right under our noses, and the only way for me to be there is to write about it. I hope you allow me to escort you through the mystical village of Legenderry.
