About this author

Beth Harbison grew up in Potomac, Maryland, in the shadow of Washington, D.C. Apart from the occasional irritation at being held up in traffic by a presidential motorcade, she has remained fairly uninvolved in the politics that define her home town.

When I was 13 and decided I wanted to be a writer (I remember it distinctly, I was in my back yard under a tree reading a Dorothy Eden book), I remember having the conscious thought that a writer must never be lonely because of that.

On a practical level, one of the best things is simply that I can run my errands, do my grocery shopping, go to the doctor, etc. any time and not just during crowded after-work hours.

Michelle Lynne Thanks for the add! Always Something There To Remind Me was soooooooooooo good!! Best chick lit book I've read in a long time. I've recommended it to all my friends and co-workers. 5 stars! While reading it, I didn't want it to end, yet I was dying to find out what happens. I love when books do that to a person! =) Way to go! Thanks a million!!
