Description:
The long awaited sequel to Dark Birthright is available! Dark Lord opens less than six months later, with your favorite characters. Set during a time of political and religious strife, it features action, magic, romance, and politics.
It’s 1637 in Scotland. Dughall is settling into his new role when the King imposes an Anglican liturgy book on the Scottish church. Protests and riots plague the realm, forcing lords and commoners to take a stand. Dughall and Gilbert are placed in precarious positions, torn between loyalty to the crown, their families, and zealous subjects. To complicate matters, Dughall claims the sword of Red Conan and inherits the curse that comes with it. Challenged by real and supernatural enemies, he must fight to continue his line. Conflicts pit brother against brother and father against son. The National Covenant is signed and war breaks out. Tempers run hot and actions are rash. To maintain order, one brother must take Blackheart’s place. Which raises the question… Who shall become the Dark Lord?
The author recommends that you reread book one. It lays the groundwork for this novel.

I have written short pieces since I've been a young teen. But I began writing novels in 2004.

Hello Rosemary. Sorry, I won't be there. June is a big month for appearances at Scottish and Celtic festivals. I did look into the conference once when it was in NY state. - JeanneRosemary wrote: "Jeanne, your book and your subject sound fascinating. Hey Jeanne. Thanks for the friend request. :-)Looks like you've got a winner there with Dark Birthright. Super reviews! The illustrations are excellent! Kudos to the illustrator.
I was looking at the photos on your website. I wanted to ask if I could get your permission to use the one titled "Castle". I've recently started creating book trailer videos (http://www.ezekielcode.com/nightowl_p...) and that castle could come in handy for the right story. I usually manipulate the photos I use in the videos by changing the lighting, the color, maybe drop in a different sky, etc., in order to create the appropriate look and feel for the story. So I was just wondering. Never hurts to ask. :-)
Wishing you continued success with your writing.
Best regards,
Gary

I read the exerpts on the Dark Birthright website. I'm in love.
First, I LOVE EVERYTHING SCOTTISH!
So, now I'm going to Amazon.com to buy the book.
I am fascinated by the description of your novel. Is it widely distributed? Might I be able to find it? Don't you just love Scotland? Man, I need to get back to Europe...my own novel is set in Regency England...Yes, I am a Jane Austen fan!
