About this author

I've always loved reading and studying American history. I also like a good story that moves and has a lot of action. I want characters that you can really get to know and care about--or hate. That is what I tried to do with Chase The Wild Pigeons: A novel of the Civil War.

Chase The Wild Pigeons is my first novel. However, I've written many magazine articles and short stories.






If your traveling in Arkansas checking out the Civil War sites, you must go by St. Charleson the White River. The single mostdeadly shot of the war was fired there when the Gunboat Mound City was struck by a round from one ofthe Confederates' big guns. The round hit the steam drum scalding most on board.
