Your party, which state in their Culture, Media and Sports policy that "Culture is essential to human fulfilment. As a human need, it enhances the economy both directly and indirectly: where people are more fulfilled they are likely to contribute more to their work and to society. Emma Pass and 8 other people liked Ashleigh's review of Dark Days:
Dark Days by Kate Ormand
"Read as digital ARC.

Now here is a book that's doing everything right.

5 Reasons to Read:
1) It's a book with a deadline. (A main character who's going to die in 15 days is not going to waste your time.)
2) Bucket list! (Set with realistic expectation..." Read more of this review »

“His smile wavers. I've been looking at him too long. 'Are you OK?' he says.
I nod, take a deep breath.
Then I lean over and kiss him.”

“To the NAR!'
'To freedom!' Jack Chimes in.
Max and I pick up our mugs and click them against everyone else's without looking at each other. I'm afraid that if I do catch his eye, I'll see my own horror at what we're getting ourselves into reflected there, and that the smile on my face will drop off and shatter like glass.”
Emma Pass, Acid

“Hopefully he’s got a good view of the tattoo on the back of my neck, the one I did myself last year using ink from a pen I found in the laundry and a shard of metal, telling him and anyone else that cares to read it to FUCK OFF.”
