About this author

Born in Wales in the UK, Lou Morgan grew up in a house with an attic full of spiders and now lives in the south of England with her husband, son and obligatory cat.

Her short fiction has been published by the British Fantasy Society, Hub Fiction, Solaris Books and PS Publishing.

Her debut novel, "Blood and Feathers" was published by Solaris in August 2012. The sequel, "Blood and Feathers: Rebellion" is published July 2013.

You might remember a while back, Jurassic London launched their series of anthologies with Pandemonium: Tales of the Apocalypse. Stories of destruction, chaos and… John Martin. It was an anthology I was very proud to be part of – I say “was” because, as is the way with Jurassic anthologies, it went out of print after one year. Bleaker - and necessarily so - than the first two "Ink..." books, this ties up the trilogy.

It's dark, it's occasionally scary (even for someone edging closer to 30 than they'd like) but above all, it has the most wonderful coda.
