I'm giving this one four stars because of its uniqueness. I thought I was reading a young adult with this one, so be warned, it's gruesome in spots and involves a rape near the beginning.

Krista Holle added a status update: This is one weird book. I'm halfway through so I'm undecided how I feel about it. It's told in an omni-present point of view. Not usually my favorite. This book is extremely original however--a difficult task with the retelling of an old mythical creature.
